Question about Pure Elan Connect
Hello everyone, I bought the Pure Elan Connect and use it (as an internet radio) mainly in battery mode because I wanted a wireless radio. I would actually be very satisfied, but I am surprised that the 4 AA batteries are used up after about 10-12 hours each. Is this usual or does anyone have any tips on how I can extend the battery life?
The louder you set them, the faster the batteries run out. These small AA batteries have far too little capacity to power a loudspeaker for a long time. You can also use rechargeable batteries, but they run out even faster.
Cooler is probably the power supply via USB with a powerbank, if you want to operate it wirelessly. e.g.:
