In principle I think so, because I can connect my iPod to my Bose soundlink mini speakers. It sometimes takes a few tries when I want to connect to the boxes, but I think that's because of the boxes and not the iPod. Because when I want to connect the phone to the speakers, it also takes a few tries. So I think you can connect the iPod to the Samsung headphones. But I can't promise anything because I can't try it out.
