Hello all I am planning to buy this product. I spend a lot of time abroad (Italy) and have to deal with open WLANs here. with open WLAN's. (Re-register every 10 minutes). Now I'm looking for a suitable SIM card (prepaid). I am grateful for any tips.

Hello Marberl65, the M7650 is a great product, I also use it in Italy with SIM cards from WIND or TIM depending on who has the best local reception. It also has a cool iOS app where you can see the SMS of the providers. ps: it's also best to install the corresponding SmartPhone app of the Italian providers on your phone, then you can easily charge the SIM's...

Best to use a local data SIM card immobile WiFi. My experience: 10-15 years ago I would have strongly recommended Vodafone, today I advise just as strongly against Vodafon.

I use TIM prepaid cards in Italy. They have good options that you can renew monthly (or not if you don't need it). E.g. GB data & unlimited calls for 7.99/month or everything unlimited with HD TV reception for 19.99. We use this in our holiday home or when we are on the road in the camper. If we don't use it, we don't renew it and it doesn't cost anything. (1 x renewal in 6 months is enough to keep the option).
