Hello, both in the review here and in the app store for the HP software, a user writes that you have to set up an HP account for scanning. Is that really true? Do they want to sniff out everything you scan? Does the printer work with Mac OS Ventura 13.6.7? I have a Mac Book Air with ICY BOX and would prefer to use the printer with Ethernet. Is that possible?

Yes that's right, you have to set up an HP account to scan via the PC app. But you can also scan directly to a USB memory card without an HP account.
