Hello Community I have been toying with a new monitor for a while. I need the monitor primarily for office work with my Macbook Pro, but from time to time I would also like to gamble on it, without great demands on FPS, details, etc.. I have a PC with a GTX970. I don't want to invest in new hardware at the moment. Do you think it can drive the monitor reasonably well, or is it hopelessly overtaxed? Basically I'd rather have a UHD monitor than a 1440p, but if the 970 can't handle it at all, maybe a 1440p would be better? Thanks for the advice :)

can recommend the monitor. i have 2 of them on my mac pro via thunderbolt dock with 4k and sometimes use a win laptop with gtx 850m via hdmi for gaming with 1440p. If your requirements are not as high as you write, this should work with the gtx970 without further ado. Reducing the resolution is no problem. 4k is definitely worth it for work.
