Hello, I am planning to point a network camera at postal parcels. I wonder if the camera is about 4-5 metres away, can you still read the address on the parcel? (Possibly with zooming?) These are standard address labels like those used by Digitec & co.

I hope someone who has this camera can answer me. Would be very grateful.

Thanks to the 3x lens and zoom, you can "guess" the text from a few metres away, but legibility is not guaranteed and depends heavily on the size of the font and the position of the label.

Despite 3x optical zoom, you won't be able to read the address at this distance. Download the Post App and register on the portal, so you can always check when the parcel has been handed over to Swiss Post, by whom and when it was delivered.

I have adjusted it to 2.45 metres. It is difficult to guess in the live function 3x opt. and enlarged with 8x dig.
