Hello, I have to bring the cable across the flat to the office. As the heating pipes for the radiators in our flat are visible on the ceiling and run from room to room, I was planning to attach the Ethernet cable to the less warm return pipe. By any chance, does anyone have any experience with this or would strongly advise against it? Should an additional thermal insulation jacket be used to better protect the cable?
