Yes, that should work. I connected the FB behind the Canle modem router of my provider GGA. For this to work, I had to switch the provider's router from GGA to "bridge mode" and switch off its WLAN. I think I also had to make DHCP and DNS adjustments. In this dual router setup, the separate guest access of the FB does not work. I don't use telephony on the FB. But everything else is 1A, no regrets.

Hello, I bought this device but had to return it because it is not compatible with UPC/Sunrise. I can't say whether it would work with the other operators.
