Hello, Is this external hard drive USB 3.1 compatible? If not, is it possible to make it compatible? Thank you in advance.

There's a USB Type A cable with it. You're thinking USB Type C, I guess? You need an extra cable for that: LINK2GO USB 3.0 Kabel (C - Micro, 1m)

Hello,
Yes, this drive is compatible with USB 3.1 but you need a cable with a USB type C connector (see art. 6078283). The transfer rates will be based on the standard for which the drive is designed, i.e. USB 3.0.
