Hello to all proud 49B2U5900CH owners and product experts. Is it just me or do you also experience that when you close your laptop, the monitor cannot be brought out of sleep mode? Even if the laptop is locked and closed, the monitor doesn't want to know anything about it until I switch the monitor off and on again. The monitor only reacts when it is switched on. My constellation: - Surface Laptop Studio 2 - Surface USB C Dock(New Gen.) - Connected to the monitor via USB-C - Mouse/keyboard dongle already tested on both variants (on the monitor and on the external dock) On the device side, I am sure that the problem is neither with my PC nor with the dock. To make sure, I tested another monitor in the same constellation (without integrated dock). The monitor starts up when the keyboard or mouse is moved. Thanks in advance for your expertise.

UPDATE!!!
After what felt like 3 hours of research:
Reset the monitor configurations -> install the software from Philips https://www.philips.ch/c-p... -> update the monitor firmware -> additionally connect with the USB B cable.
Now the wake-up works via the keyboard.
LG and have fun with the 49B2U5900CH

I have the same problem with my Lenovo Yoga 730-15IWL (year 2019, monitor connected to USB -C): does not go out of sleep mode when the laptop is closed.

Hey
It may be due to the cables (USB-C) that must be connected to the special input on the monitor, otherwise it won't work.

With my Surface Pro 7 it works without any problems. Sometimes you have to press the keyboard a few times, but it works.

Otherwise I think it's more likely that it's your Surface Studio 2 laptop... had that one too. 2 weeks. Huge problems with graphics card/monitors. Went for repair and then sold.
