Hello together I was very happy to order this soundbar from Samsung because the reviews are great, but unfortunately the disappointment is very big. The soundbar is connected with an HDMI (ARC), also tried with an optical cable but always the same result. Almost no bass, even though everything was set to maximum. Also tried several places in the living room. I have a Samsung TV UE55F6640SS which supports Dolby Digital & DTS. I stream movies & music from Netlix, Apple Movie, Youtube etc. When I do a bass test everything is great, as soon as I turn on a movie there is almost no bass, what could be the cause? Thank you very much for your answers. Greetings

Everything works great for me. I connected it ONLY via optical. I only did what the instructions say. And I think I still had to click somewhere again when I could choose which medium to play via the soundbar and where to leave it with the TV's speaker. The bass comes mainly from the bass module. As described above: The linking between the soundbar and the bass module has to be done cleanly beforehand.
I was even able to uninstall the entire surround system of the old DVD player, because it now runs completely via the TV and then the Soundbar. Fewer cables, less salad. Cool.
Good luck.

I also bought it new and am completely satisfied. Does the blue light on the bass module at the back light up constantly when the soundbar is on? I have an LG TV and effectively had to change the sound output. The default was "TV internal speaker" and I have now changed it to HDMI Arc. Then it ran without problems and the bass hummed. The manual doesn't say anything about having to change it. Hope this helps
