Hello, Does opening the laptop to clean the fan or upgrading it with a new SSD (for example) void the warranty ? Thanks for your insight

Hello,
No. Unless you directly cause internal damage, you're fine. Note that we advise you put your laptop back to its stock state anyway if you ever have to send it for warranty, just because you might not get the laptop back in some cases. So better save your SSD if it ever happens.
