Question about Lenovo Keyboard pack for Tab P12

Hello i am using the keyboard on the Lenovo Tab p 12 (keyboard was included with the purchase of the tablet) unfortunately the keyboard does not work. it is recognised when i connect it to the tablet but the keyboard does not work. do i have to unlock it somehow or is the keyboard defective? unfortunately i cannot find a solution to the problem online...

The keyboard worked perfectly for me straight away - without unlocking or anything else. Simply dock it and it's up and running.
