I have had canton speakers with wooden cabinets for several years. Cost Fr. 500.00 per speaker.
They sound very good.
I have changed the amplifier. Currently Yamaha A-S701. Is top.

I don't use it for games, but for music it's excellent for rock, the rest I don't listen to.

I use JBL and B&W. Any decent speaker will sound good for any kind of music. However, I ignore for PC gaming.
