hey i have a question. i now have a modem with fibre optics, which has 10gb/s... but the pc only gets 960mbit/s. what could be the reason for this? do i have the wrong cables from the modem to the pc or why?

Because your laptop internet card only supports 1GB/s. I also have a 10GB Salt box but there is only a 2.5GB/s port so if I have a device that supports like like a NAS great. But laptops don't at the moment. Its part do to cost, heat and also lack of demand.
