Hi there, I am considering to buy this screen. Currently using an LG 34" ultra wide, that in summer gets quite worm after several hours of usage. Does anyone that is using this screen for more than 5 hours a day continuosly confirm if you place the hand in front of the screen like 2-3cm is it quite warm? Thanks a lot!

I have an average of 26°C to 28°C in my room and have already had a longer gaming session of over 8 hours, but the monitor only got slightly warm. At a distance of 2 to 3 cm, you feel almost nothing. The monitor has a built-in active fan, which probably helps. But I have never noticed the fan either.

I didn't feel any particular heat effect with this monitor. If I want to feel an effect, it's better to stick my hand almost to the monitor, and the heat effect is really very slight.

That's not the problem with this monitor.

The only downside is reading text against a light background. Due to the pixel arrangement of the QDOLED panel, there's a yellow/pink halo effect around the text.

I ended up enlarging the font in Windows to stop seeing this phenomenon.

As for the rest, it's an ideal monitor for those who want to play games and keep the same monitor for work.
The radius of curvature also suits me very well (not too pronounced).

I've only had the monitor for a few days and once I noticed a certain amount of heat, but only when I was relatively close to the monitor, but it's not extreme.
Otherwise a great monitor for gaming and home office.

I use the monitor for my home office and it sometimes runs for 10 hours at a time. I find the heat it gives off is noticeable. In my opinion, it is very warm.
I would still buy the monitor again. It's great for working from home.
