Question about Apple iPad Pro 2020 (2. Gen)
I am looking for a multi-dock or USB-C hub for the iPad Pro 2020. I have an 8-in-1 from Satechi, which also has several USB-A slots and, most importantly for me, SD card and mini-SD card slots. It also has a USB-C. However, when I connect the charger to the USB-C port of the hub, the device does not charge. So I am looking for a multi-dock (USB-C) hub that will allow me to have several other ports and also charge the iPad Pro at the same time. Thanks for your help.

I have a very decent product from Satechi which I bought for my MacBook Pro. It turned out that, on the one hand, no more than 45W can be passed on and, on the other hand, that the adapter itself can dissipate around 12W of power. I assume that you have connected the original charger (15W). This means that a power supply with more power would probably also be able to charge your iPad. Unfortunately, I cannot test this for you.
That was effectively it. The more powerful mains adapter from the MacBook Pro now charges the iPad on the hub without any problems. Thanks Fraenkli!
