I am planning to buy this lens shortly, but with this purchase I need a new camera bag/backpack. Unfortunately, I can't find any information on the respective backpacks/bags and am therefore unsure whether they have room for this lens. Can anyone recommend something? A backpack should offer (space for) the following: - Camera Canon M5 incl. EF adapter - Tamron 150-600mm - Canon 18-200mm - Canon 55-200mm - Canon 15-45mm - Canon 11mm - Outside pocket for water bottle - Attachment for tripod - Small compartments for filters and batteries - Additional separate storage space for e.g. provisions A bag should have space for the following - Camera Canon M5 incl. EF adapter - Tamron 150-600mm - Canon 18-200mm - Canon 55-200mm - Small compartments for filters and batteries My budget would be +- 150 CHF Many thanks in advance :)
150 Fr. for a bag AND a backpack? If the measurements are missing here, the manufacturer's website will help. But the fact that you can't find any information is certainly not correct.
I don't know of a bag that fits a 150-600. I don't think it makes sense because of the weight. And I recommend spending a little more on the backpack. There is hardly anything clever for 150 Fr. Maybe the usual Lowepro Flipside, but the ones that fit the equipment don't have a compartment for food etc. I also found the carrying comfort to be poor. You get what you pay for.
First class but more expensive is Shimoda. The Action X50 with the medium DSLR inlay should be enough. First class comfort and workmanship. Roll-top compartment for food, clothing etc. Bottle holders that are really usable and also fit large bottles. Can also be stowed away.
