I am totally confused by all the different cable descriptions, I just want to have a 15-20m cable for my Fritzbox to get the device through a wall into another room. Is that possible with the cable, or is there something special?

You can tell by the colours of the OTO and SFP on the FritzBox. If both are light green, it should work.

If the colour is not recognisable, it is best to ask your provider. They will be able to tell you the correct plug types for the wall connection (OTO) and the adapter that is installed in the FritzBox (if you have received this from the provider).
