Screen protector, RX1, RX100, Sony Alpha A7II
I bought the above mentioned display film for my new camera DSC RX Mark 4. I found out that I have to mount it 180 degrees upside down so that it fits on the display. Is that the case?
If anyone else is interested in the problem: I own the RX100 M3 and the RX100 M6. With the M6, the screen protector really had to be stuck on upside down, but not with the M3. On the M6, however, the lettering is on top and upside down! If the screen protector is not applied upside down on the M6, part of the display is covered on the right-hand side. One would expect the screen protector to be offered in two versions under these circumstances!
As Anritter describes it, it works. Or: as well as the protection shown in the offer, it is glued on (camera held upright). It also fits all other RX100 I,ll,lll and is, in my experience, highly recommended so that the display does not become "blotchy", worn. This way the image always remains equally visible.
The Sony PCK-LM15 LCD protective film fits the Sony Cyber-shot DSC RX100 IV exactly as you would expect. The SONY lettering is exactly covered with the new SONY lettering on the protective film. I didn't have to turn anything 180 degrees.
