Hello Christians, I have just unplugged the cable (can't get anywhere). It works. I can't contribute anything to your difference in volume and whether that can be due to the cable. Depending on which of my headphones I connect to the adapter cable, the volume varies - different ohms or something.
Depending on the cross-section of the cable, there is also something like that.
