I don't quite understand it yet. Can the Wi-Fi function be deactivated for each device (or switched on and off by a timer) and only the powerline function continues to run or do these things permanently emit Wi-Fi?

I installed this at my place 2 days ago. It consists of a LAN adapter that serves as a 'base' (and only has LAN) and 2 LAN/WLAN adapters. The WLAN can be switched on and off individually for these two adapters at the touch of a button (or via the Devolo software). The Powerline function continues to run anyway. At the moment I use the adapters only in powerline mode without any problems.
Note: During installation, follow the (simple) instructions exactly. Otherwise the adapters will not initialise correctly. I had also thought that I could ignore the instructions....
