I don't quite understand one point, I bought this monitor a year ago for half the price. What has changed so much in the meantime that the price is twice as high?

An insider tip if you can do without the speakers is the LG 27UK670-B. As far as I know, the same panel, resolution, USB-C and size for MOMENTANEOUSLY 400.- The price will certainly change here too ;)

Yes, I wonder about that too. I've been wondering for a while. Since I value this monitor enormously for its sharpness and quality (apart from the loudspeaker), I have been looking at the price because I want to get another one.... It's partly up and down. There's also the older LG 27UL850-W. It costs half as much, but has also been much cheaper. I can't find any difference between the two monitors. Perhaps someone else? I'm definitely not going to spend 800.
