I have an error on the monitor not showing me 144 hz. The monitor is connected to a ROG G75VX laptop, HDMI 2.0 cable to HDMI 1 monitor input. http://pasteboard.co/EbD9MYLEB.png

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use the screen, but I'm sure I'll be able to use a dvi cable to get 144hz, so I'll be able to use it.

HDMI does not (yet) support 144Hz mode. You will need to use a mini-DP to DisplayPort cable or a DVI cable and an adapter.
