I have connected the iPhone & Rode Go receiver with the cable but the camera does not record the sound via Mik but directly. What am I doing wrong or is the cable defective?

Special cables and adapters are needed! In addition, settings have to be made. The only thing that helps is reading in. It is best to research on the Internet. Start with the Røde homepage!
