I noticed yellow spots on the edge of the display, almost only visible in the dark and with a black image. You can see it clearly especially at start-up. Does anyone else also have this problem?

No, I haven't noticed that yet. It's not a pixel error, the spots are bigger? I think there's a tolerance for pixel errors: if there aren't enough, there's no guarantee, that's what I have with my desktop screen... I can live with that.
Or is it dirt? then clean the screen ;-)
