Question about Poly Voyager 5200 UC
(I posted the same question on the other headset) In the Digitec/Galaxus shop there is this offer for currently 85.90 and again the same headset for 102. Item no. 5817778 / manufacturer no. 206110-101 / release date 25.6.2023 and Item no. 21954469 / manufacturer no. 7K2F3AA / release date 31.8.2022 However, I couldn't find a difference anywhere, not even via Google, and ChatGPT only provides unsatisfactory answers. Which headset does the sales recommendation apply to and why? Thanks for the help.

If in doubt, I would choose the Poly item - because their warranty services have (so far) always been generous and defective items are replaced _really_ quickly. Unfortunately, I've already had to rely on it!

There are many manufacturer article numbers for the Voyager 5200 UC. This is due to Poly's eventful company history in recent years. Once Plantronics (founded in 1961, astronaut Neil Armstrong was on the moon with Plantronics headphones ( https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki...)), then merged with Polycom.com in 2018 as poly.com and acquired by HP.com in 2022.
Under poly.com the manufacturer part number was 206110-101, the 7K2F3AA is a typical HP.com part number.
Long story short: they are both the same headset.
And the CHF 85.90 version also has the charging station (here it's called a charging case, the CHF 108.00 version still has a charging box).

It's a great headset, I've had the second one since 2016 because I dropped the first one during a race and was run over by a car (only the Voyager 5200 UC, not me ;-) )
