I would like to find out whether a constant blue shimmer (haze) in the picture - usually after a few minutes of operation - is due to a defective lamp and whether this fault can be remedied with a new one?

Do you have this "problem" with the original lamp? If so, from the beginning or since the replacement lamp?
Otherwise, you can send us a photo via e-mail and we will check this.
