Question about TP-Link Archer MR400
I would like to operate the router with a Swisscom SIM (Natel Go subscription). The downstream fluctuates from 5 to max. 10 Mbps, but the upstream goes up to 40 Mbps. With my iPhone 7, the downstream is at least 20 Mbps. The router also shows only 25% signal strength, although I have attached an external antenna (DELOCK LTE antenna, 7.2 cm, 1-2 dBi). Why is the download with the router so low?

As far as I can see, the 2 antennas at the back of the housing are for the WLAN and not for the LTE (mobile network). So a better antenna probably won't help.
I think the only thing left to do is to position the device better in order to achieve a better signal strength.
