I have a new Salt Fiber Box and am wondering which desk phone would be compatible. I was able to register a Gigaset SL400 with the fibre box and it works. Then it should also be possible with the T480HX.
Can someone give me some information before I buy the device?

As another customer already answered to a similar question: Due to the DE version rather not so recommendable, unless you want to search for the matching adapters for this. To be on the safe side, you could contact customer support and ask for product-specific advice.
