Question about HP Smart Tank 7005
i'm happy with this printer, aaabut: if someone can tell me how to set it up so that I can print DIRECTLY from the programs (photos, word etc.) in colour by default (under MacOS sonoma), I would be VERY happy. so far, despite all the google searches and advice, I haven't managed it. with the HP Smart app it works perfectly, but it's an extra effort.

It works well with the HP app, with Windows and Mac, does the Mac possibly lose the IP address of the printer? Then manually enter the IP in the Mac and it should work. Good luck!jpa
Works perfectly, print/scan with iOS/MacOS with and without HP Smart App. No problems so far! Perhaps a little noisy on start-up and the copy tray cover a little weak and choppy! Absolutely satisfactory for me, would buy it again.
I have been working with this printer under macOS for months - printing in colour directly from all programs. I don't need the Smart App. Or I'm misunderstanding something.
