Is everybody happy with the microphone quality of Jabra Evolve2 85 MS? There are many reviews online claiming a very poor quality. Is it good enough?

Compared to other headsets, this one has a function that neutralises the noise around the microphone particularly well, and other colleagues have a Sony or Bose, and the Jabra microphone is much more effective in noisy environments. You can work in an office with other people on the phone and they won't hear the ambient noise. It is however a little less efficient in terms of noise cancellation for the user compared to other brands, but for office use it seems to me very suitable, for use in an aeroplane, others are perhaps more suitable. I have tested several models and this Jabra Evolve is for me the best solution for open space use at the moment. I agree with the comment that sometimes the microphone does not reactivate properly, you have to insist / move the microphone and it works, but apart from this point the rest works quite well, especially supports well the connection to two devices (computer + smartphone).

I am satisfied with the quality of the microphone. At first I didn't think about the fact that you have to turn the microphone towards your mouth after the arm is folded down. I regularly carry out the microphone test in teams. So far it has always been top. I think the noise suppression could be better (e.g. Bose). But the main reason for me was that I can be connected to teams and mobile phones at the same time. If I get a call during a team meeting, the mobile phone is automatically "disconnected" and doesn't bother me. I also like the possibility of triggering tones in the Jabra app so that the colleague opposite does not disturb me with his conversation.

We have in the office a few Jabra Evolve2 85 MS. We didn't experience any problems with poor quality. Still, we have an issue with the microphone when pooling a handle/microphone will not work always. Then it happens that often someone pulls the microphone and starts talking, expecting everyone to hear him, but he is actually muted. What is good about these headphones is noise cancellation and sound suppression. I can concentrate without hearing others around me when I use them. But honestly, for this money, everything should work perfectly without too much work.
