Question about Synology DS220j
Is it possible to make a kind of time backup or to save the status of a folder every day so that, for example, in the event of a loss of data, I can retrieve it 2 weeks earlier?
If by time backup you mean regular snapshots, unfortunately that is not possible, because for that you would have to use a NAS that is equipped with the Btrfs file system. This small NAS only supports the Ext4 storage format. The much better equipped DS218 with 2GB RAM (the DS220j has only 512MB) and the same Quad Core CPU supports snapshots for restoring previous versions and also has the Btfrs file system. To use snapshots, the disks must be formatted with the Btfrs file system during setup.
