Question about Magnat Monitor Reference 2A
Is it true that these speakers cannot be used without the remote control?
There are various controls on the back of one speaker and these can be used to operate the Magnat Monitor Reference 2A to a large extent. However, it is much more convenient to use the remote control.

OPERATION
As soon as the device is supplied with power and the power switch (Fig. 2, (2)) is switched on, the STBY LED of the active loudspeaker lights up red.

According to my research, the Magnat Monitor Reference 2A does not have a control panel on the speaker. They are controlled exclusively via the remote control, including volume, input selection, switching on/off and bass and treble control.
Without a remote control, only the volume can be adjusted via the connected source (e.g. PC or smartphone).
