I have about 40sqm and am very happy - but it's always a question of the overall picture. I will soon pair a second Sonos, but I am already very happy with a 5. So yes. You can make very good settings for the sound quality.

"Alex2600: If you're happy with mono, one Play 5 is enough on the surface ... but once you set up a stereo pair with with two One's, you'll never be happy with the sound ... that's how I feel. Now find that a stereo pair can only be set up with another 5 ... definitely not worth it to me. Would probably part with the 5 (2nd gen) for half the NP....
