Is the Cage also capable of native 7.1 surround on the PC if, for example, a game has a sound output of 7.1? Or does the surround only work with the virtual 7.1 conversion?

Only virtual. So far I haven't noticed any advantage if it is directly supported in the game. Cod bw. I don't think it's implemented well and is badly customisable. Honestly, get hype x cloud 2. it has good 7.1 and more settings.
