Is the motor of the player really as extremely loud (as someone writes in the reviews?) I bought the audio technica lp70xbt as an absolute beginner's model (which isn't exactly quiet either, but acceptable - despite its problems with lots of loops and skips), but now I'd like to buy something with an adjustable arm and I've been harbouring dreams of the Denon for a long time.

I would never have noticed this negatively with my device, but I'm also more of a beginner when it comes to vinyl and can't compare it with other devices.

I can't confirm this statement. My ears may not be the best, but I can't hear anything from the engine.....

I am not aware of this problem or have never noticed it, although I would be very sensitive to it.
