Yes, it is waterproof. It has been submerged in water several times in my house and it hasn't affected it at all.
I agree with Ruedisuehli1: The bracelet is gradually losing its beautiful pink colour, so I bought a leather bracelet to go with it. But now everything is flawless:-)

Waterproof, yes, but not colourfast. The bracelet is no longer pink after 3 months, but white.
