Runs smoothly with Mac OS, you just have to reformat it with the hard drive utility. An iMac takes no longer than 2 minutes to do this.

I assume that with usb connection you do a formatting and it should work like a data carrier. Really how do you run with a usb stick on a mac?

As far as I know, this HD should also be able to be operated with Mac, as it contains a directory with drivers and tools for Mac
