The keyboard is louder than an "HP USB business keyboard, flat" and also louder than a Logitech K120, which can probably be compared to a normal HP keyboard. I would not use the Ornata Chroma in the office out of consideration for colleagues, unless you have a single office. The Ornata Chroma is also a hybrid of a rubber dome and a mechanical keyboard. So it's not a fully mechanical keyboard. They would be a bit louder, depending. To use the RGB functions, you need to install software, which may not be possible or permitted on a business notebook. This allows you to create different colour profiles that are reloaded when the PC is started. The keyboard is really good in my opinion and the palm rest is very comfortable. You can also test the keyboard in a shop if necessary.
