Transcend Mts400
256 GB, M.2 2242
is this m.2 compatible with a lenovo l570?
no, it looks like it has nvme 2280 ssd in the model you mentioned and is already quite well equipped and fast. 2280 is cheaper than 2242 because it has a larger mass.
that would be the following products: https://www.digitec.ch/de...

Mass Storage
The system storage is an NVMe SSD from Samsung. This is an M.2 model (2280). However, the SSD is not in an M.2 slot, but is connected to a SATA port via an adapter. However, this is not a SATA III slot, but a SATA Express slot. The latter is the successor to SATA-III. SATA Express virtually combines SATA and PCI Express 3.0, i.e. not only NVMe SSDs can be operated at the connection, but also conventional 2.5-inch SATA hard disks. The data transfer is realised here via PCI Express. Up to four PCIe 3.0 lanes can be used. In the Thinkpad, 2 lanes (= PCIe 3.0 x2) are used. The maximum transfer rate is therefore 2 GB/s.
