No, unfortunately it doesn't have Spotify capability. I also bought this for my kids, simply saved the music track from YouTube videos and downloaded it.

To be completely honest Raymondh, I've given them both as gifts to kids and I'm not sure if they're Spotify compatible... Sorry I can't give you an answer...
