Is this stick suitable for storing virtual machines on and running them directly on an M1 Mac with Parallels? I know that it works, with 400 read, that's fine, but will it damage the memory in the long term?
Are you using an iMac or Mac Mini? I personally wouldn't recommend it because the writing speed isn't amazing. The warranty period of two years is decisive, regardless of use. If I were you, I would back up the virtual machines to an additional storage medium, depending on their importance.
My recommendation:
LaCie Portable SSD (1000 GB)
