Is this system suitable for outdoor use and can the boxes be placed further apart or how far apart?

I mean NO to outdoor. And certainly NO to boxes. They have very short cables and want/need to be positioned around the system.

Only suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent, the moisture will damage the system. You can easily extend the speaker cable, which is a two-phase copper cable.
