It is not so easy to find out. However, based on the points below, it is clearly a European version.
Reasons:
1. software & language settings
Chinese version: Often pre-installed with Chinese language, limited choice of other languages.
European version: Offers German, English, French etc. directly in the settings.
2. eSIM function
The Chinese version usually uses China Telecom or other local suppliers.
The European version is compatible with Vodafone, Swisscom, Telekom, etc.
3. app compatibility
Chinese models may have restrictions on third-party apps (e.g. Google Maps, Spotify).
European versions are usually fully compatible with Western app stores.
4. packaging & instructions
Language and CE labelling on the packaging or instructions provide information.
CE mark = European authorisation.
