It only says NC instead of ANC? Passive noise cancellation. That's a mistake, isn't it?

the WH-1000XM5 definitely have active noise cancellation (ANC), even if the description sometimes only uses "NC". This is not a misnomer, but a simplified form. You can also find more details on the technical specifications of the headphones on our website.
