it's an impertinence to offer such a piece of plastic at this price. but whoever buys it can't be helped. the thing might have a material value < 5 CHF ... available on amazon from 19.-, aliexpress from 10.-.

Sorry, but your comment is absolutely unobjective. Firstly, the XQD card format is a real exotic among memory cards and then you have to consider that transfer interfaces for 500-600MB/s cost money, which is also the case with Samsung and readers for SD cards with high transfer rates (from 300MB/s and Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1). I couldn't find your advertised alternatives for 5-10 CHF, but last month I tested the product of a no-name manufacturer from Asia, which failed miserably with the transfer rates. My Nikon Z7 makes 50-70MB RAW files and with a few 100 pictures, that's a huge amount of data. And whether these are transferred at 350MB/s (Sony reader) or at about 70MB/s (no-name product) is then already relevant. Oh, and then another question: if you have money to spare for a 3000 franc camera + lens and another 3 00-400 CHF for a memory card, why are you upset about the 100 francs? That is really the smallest item. And apart from Nikon's professional models, no one is using XQD in their cameras at the moment.

The price is relatively high. I need the device to transfer my photos to my laptop/Dropbox on my trips abroad. When you put the cost of the product in relation to the cost of travel, it's clear to me that quality comes before price. This is a one-time purchase.
