You may have inadvertently not activated the correct layout in Windows - you can quickly switch between the installed layouts using the "Windows key" and space bar. Alternatively, you would have to add German as a keyboard language in the Windows input & language settings.

The @ character cannot be selected with ALT GR on the Q key. Why? What key combination is necessary for German (Switzerland) keyboard setting?
