Question about Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen.) MagSafe USB-C
My Airpods Pro 2nd Gen have silicone attachments that smell extremely like chemicals. Haven't found anything about this in the comments. Has anyone had any experience with this? In the shop where I bought them, they initially tried to tell me it was normal. However, it stinks when the case is opened, I can smell it when they are in my ears. They have now been sent to Apple.

It doesn't smell bad. If this is the case, it is not normal. You need to get the Apple warranty to work. Good luck.

Send it in and make a warranty claim.
I prefer the memory foam tips that are more comfortable to wear. I usually buy a few pairs of tips and then replace them regularity. Hope this helps.
mine also smell extremely bad! the odour even sticks to my hand when I touch them.
mine too, the silicone attachments smell extremely of plasticiser! Certainly not healthy to wear them in the inner ear...
mine do not smell - they are ok. Maybe ask for replacement.
