I have to confirm this (unfortunately). It only works with this Technisat original. I tried others first (e.g. from Netgear), but they didn't work. The good news is: I have been using this part for some time and it works perfectly with a very good range. Although the WLAN signal has to pass through two rooms and walls, the network connection is trouble-free. Unfortunately, it is not 5 GHZ capable, only 2.5 GHZ. I particularly liked the WPS function (button) during installation.

I have also tried alternatives, but in the end only had success with the original from Technisat.

Only the Technisat USB WLAN stick works. Configure Internet sharing and UpnP in the receiver settings. Technisat Apps are available for tablets and telephones.
